Cardiff City Centre will have a brand new retail centre by Autumn 2010 that will be home to the likes of John Lewis; the biggest outside of Oxford Street.
The development is bringing approximately £1 billion of investment into Cardiff city centre and will create 4,000 new retail-based jobs.
A new state of the art library will open in Spring 2010.The library building is an impressive six storeys and boasts the latest characteristics in environmental architecture including a green roof which is designed to enhance biodiversity.
Work has now begun on the 250-metre olympic-standard canoe slalom centre. The UK’s first olympic-standard pumped water canoe slalom course is expected to attract up to 50,000 users per year.
