It’s the 22nd annual Cardiff MAS Carnival “MAGICK: Dr Dee’s World of Wonder” which brings Cardiff City Centre alive with hundreds of flamboyant costumes, carnival creations, masks, headpieces, giant puppets on backpacks and mobile sculptures.
Watch scheming magicians, cosmic spirits, shadowy demons, swashbuckling adventurers and Welsh Indian warriors as they all dance dynamically to the funky street bands through the streets of Cardiff finishing at the Admiral Big Weekend on City Hall Lawn.
The Parade
11.30am
Parade leaves Wales Millennium Centre travelling up Bute Street.
12.30pm
Along St Mary’s Street where the parade stops for a half hour ‘Street Jam’.
1.00pm
Continuing along The Hayes, Castle Street, Kingsway.
1.30pm
Finishing at the Admiral Cardiff Big Weekend on City hall Lawn.
