This year’s Cardiff Comedy Festival is coming direct out of St David’s Hall with a whole host of top comedians, making this summer’s Comedy Fest a sizzling one.

This 10 day event will feature the first ever Welsh Unsigned Stand-up Award (WUSA) Sponsored by Route One, with a whopping £1k prize for the winner. More established acts will also feature, such as Russell Kane who will host the final of WUSA on Monday 19 July.

As well as the live performances, Cardiff Library will host Comedy Workshops for 15 to 19 year-olds with the winner getting to perform alongside Rhod Gilbert in the Cardiff Comedy Festival Welsh showcase at St David’s Hall on 26 July.

Cardiff Comedy Festival in Association with St David’s Hall will also herald the launch of a brand new series of local comedy acts at the L3 Lounge in the Autumn. Watch this space…
